On September 18, 2019, at the meeting of the RSPP Commission on Trade and the Consumer Market, OPEN Group officially became its full member.
The Commission includes the leaders of the Russian retail market, as well as leading experts in retail development. During the meeting, the participants examined the most pressing issues in legislative regulation of the industry and the mechanisms for the “regulatory guillotine” implementation in the trade.
In particular, they discussed the draft sanitary rules for trade enterprises developed by Rospotrebnadzor and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the initiative to introduce the amendment to the Federal Law entitled “On Production and Consumption Wastes”. They also discussed the Rospotrebnadzor’s proposals to change the list of regulations within the framework of the “regulatory guillotine”.
Following the meeting, the Commission’s consolidated position, expressing the views of significant market players, will be sent to project developers for their consideration.
