On January 21, 2020, OPEN Group representatives took part in a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Vsevolod Vukolov on an experiment on the introduction of electronic personnel workflow. Among the participants of the event were employers using modern technologies in human resources management and ready to participate in the All-Russian experiment.
Currently, the State Duma of the Russian Federation is considering a bill prepared by the Ministry of Labor of Russia determining the procedure for the implementation of the pilot. The start of the experiment is scheduled for April 1, 2020. Employers participating in the pilot project will test the execution and signing of personnel documents with electronic signatures. The experiment is aiming to optimise the approval and signing procedures, reduce the cost of sending and storing paper copies while providing employees with a more convenient service for interacting with the HR service.
