OPEN Group Holds Merchanday 2019 on September 18

The second forum of “Merchanday 2019” merchandising directors took place on September 18 in the Holiday Inn conference room with information support from the OPEN Group. OPEN Group business development manager Denis Kozlovsky opened the event with the introduction of a new tool - the WODO application, designed to solve the problem of lack of goods on the shelf. It is a sore subject for many retailers around the world: annually due to OOS, they lose up to a trillion dollars in profit.

When developing WODO, we used computer vision technologies to recognize goods on shelves. The uniqueness of the product lies in the fact that sales data always remains in the client part of the application, eliminating the conflict of security of the services. The alert is transmitted as a product of computing. The application receives signals directly daily and sends the results to the network. Meanwhile, the advanced computer vision algorithm processes non-standard packaging and copes with a large assortment.

So far, the project undergoes tests in collaboration with three major manufacturers: MARS, JTI and CTM. Join the test https://mywodo.ru/#page-about
